More Carpenters Videos
It's a Carpenters kind of Saturday. I had not ever heard this version of California Dreaming.
Their performances on the Tonight Show in 1973 are pretty awesome.

These are simply amazing. Karen's voice was so beautiful and so so sad, even when she is singing, "I'm on top of the world." I have never liked the Carpenters' version of Ticket to Ride, but this version with just vocals and drums is good and weird.
